The Military Officers Association of America Cape Canaveral Chapter (MOAACC) is dedicated to supporting the development of future leaders through its involvement with military-focused programs in Brevard County, Florida. We proudly support the Florida Institute of Technology’s Army ROTC program—the only one of its kind in Brevard County.

We extend our support to all 14 JROTC programs, along with Sea Cadet, Sea Scout, and Civil Air Patrol units in Brevard County. These units take turns presenting the Colors at our monthly luncheons, symbolizing their commitment to leadership. MOAACC representatives also attend award ceremonies, presenting the MOAA Medal of Merit to outstanding JROTC cadets and the MOAACC Challenge Coin to top cadets from the Sea Cadet, Sea Scout, and Civil Air Patrol units.

At the April MOAACC Luncheon, we honor the top-performing cadets from these units, presenting them with a MOAA Certificate of Military Merit. This event also welcomes their instructors, parents, and guests. Additionally, the May MOAACC Luncheon is dedicated to honoring students appointed to military academies or awarded ROTC scholarships.

The MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation (GDF) provides annual financial support to all participating units and responds to special requests approved by the Foundation’s Board. To further enhance the educational experience of over 2,500 cadets across Brevard County’s JROTC programs, the GDF has launched the JROTC Support Donation Drive. Contributions will directly benefit these programs by:

Boosting annual grants to reduce fundraising burdens.
Sponsoring awards for competitive events, including Raider Challenge and Air Rifle competitions.
Providing cash stipends for MOAA Medal Award winners.
Funding special projects such as computer donations and specialized cadet training.
