GOOD DEEDS FOUNDATION
History
The MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation (GDF, TIN: 46-5148264), is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization supporting the aims of the Cape Canaveral Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAACC). It has provided direct support and grants to area military (primarily in enlisted ranks), veterans, and their families; ROTC, JROTC, Sea Cadet, Civil Air Patrol, and Young Marines; and other Veteran organizations and groups since 1987. In 2023, GDF provided grants totaling over $130,000 in support of these aims.
All donations are tax deductible and the MOAACC Good Deeds Foundation will provide a letter showing the name of the charity, the date of the contribution, and the amount of the contribution to all donors. Please donate online (Click Here) or mail your donations to:

Goals, Objectives and Policies
The goal of GDF is to help support active duty military and family, student related ROTC/JROTC and other units, and individuals and veterans needing special assistance in the area, including other non-profit organizations (e.g. Honor Flight, USO, etc.). GDF endeavors to distribute all funds raised each year to organizations and individuals which merit such support. A modest reserve is kept annually, for funding to begin the following year. The GDF program is administered through a President, appointed annually by the MOAACC, Inc. Board of Directors, consistent with Federal and State law. All GDF Board of Directors are unpaid volunteers to ensure nearly all of the donated funds go toward their intended recipients.
